MLS vs Premier

Major League of Soccer(MLS) and Premier League(PL) are a futbol soccer tournament of USA and England respectively, my topic is if this tournaments represent the culture of his respective countries?. First I will describe both tournaments MLS is founded in December 16th, 1993, in compliance of Alan Rothenberg to USSF (United State Soccer Federation) to make a league of first division, a memorial change for FIFA World Cup 1994. In case of PL, is founded in May 27th 1992 giving to the Football League, tournament which had problems of can not pay to clubs and result a economic crisis, then the FA (The Football Association) create the Premier League.

Second I will compare both leagues, MLS had 18 teams and are divided in 2 confederations, east and west, the season begin in March and end in November, each team play 34 games for season, 10 best team qualify to the post-season for decide the champion. For Premier, had 20 teams, each club plays twice with the rest, once in their stadium and once at their opponents, in a total of 38 games, season begin in August and end in May of the next year, the best qualified is the champion. As trascendental players of both tournament had for MLS David Beckham, Thierry Henry, Marco Pappa, and for PL Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, Cesc Fabregas.

In respect of cultures, both leagues are ordered like british and americans cultures, the schedules are extrict meting, the public in stadiums not altered and destroy things, with exception of some teams of latin´s states of MLS. But in diference englands are more extricts with rules, take for example the case of Wayne Rooney, that use a vulgar language in a game, and Premier League gives a punishment with 3 games than not play. The MLS isn´t extrict in this. Other diference is that for American sport the MLS not gives more importance, instead Premier League is a league with more public in England. In conclusion the Premier League represents more british culture than MLS represents american culture, by Soccer had more importance in England than United States.
