Journalism Club: Finding the true

Mr. Julio Asturias:

I wish that your activities results good. The reason of this letter is that several students and I want to create a journal club. The journalism is an activity to search, collect, and publish actual information, the publication is know as newspaper, an examples of newspapers are Times, The Sun, Daily News, etc. In Guatemala will find: Prensa Libre, El Periodico, Siglo XXI, etc. It is an activity that we don’t have at school, and is a activity that help to discover an ability of few students. Then Mr. Julio Asturias, I want to suggest that the school implements a journalism club so students will be more informed, and public with a spirit of service.

Journalism dedicates to search and publish information, and in consequence the student journalist will be informed. Students will also benefit because they will be well informed. The club would post the news in a general billboard, located where everyone could find it. The club will meet after class schedule and print the news to be published. Or gives to student a little newspaper, obviously this method needs some money, and made the posibility of have to sell newspapers. The club could have a own room, where they´re realize the activities of journalism, this produce improved efficiency.

The news that the journal club will publish will speak about school achievements like winning social, education, sport tournaments, etc. Take for specific example intercolleges soccer championship, academic Olympics, charty works, etc. Facts that will rise in student admiration, enthusiasm, even love for the school, in other words a public spirit in student. This can be done if the students that enter in the journalism club emphasize in appreciating the school and want that the other students to have the same sense. This journal club members will be have a good academic level and academic understanding by teachers.

To end, Mr. Julio Asturias, my reasons why the journal club should be made are because students will be more informed, thanks for organization that will have the club, and it gives the students more public spirit for the school, with the topics that the club uses as school achievements. Club´s memebers will be a good students and scool lovers, and will have comprehension for teachers. I wish that you think about this grand club and approved it.
