Letter to a friend with economic problems

Guatemala, July 5th 2011

Dear Pancho Rodriguez

Hello Francisco, my friend, are you having fun in Spain? Two years have passed since you left to Barcelona to take the IB studies. I know that you´re having economic problems because your employer went bankrupt, and you are jobless. I also heard a rumor that you will leave the IB studies because you can´t pay the program anymore. The reason that I´m writing this letter is to help you with this problem, and my advice is find a job, or ask for economic help.

It is true that actually in Europe is so difficult to find a job, but if you try and try, sooner or later you will find it. There exist many jobs that can be help to pass the economic problem, even to pay the IB studies. There are companies related to the job that you are studying, jobs that support young adults, or hobbies that produce money as preparing food, selling things, helping others to do homework, taking care of children, etc.

Your family and friends can help you with a little money to pay the IB. The only thing is the fact that you have to asks for economic help, and many people will sympathize and will help you. You can do several calls to rich people asking if they could help with a contribution, search for companies that dedicate to help people like you, make a request in newspapers, internet, radio, etc. All ideas are fine.

I wish that my advice of finding a job to pass the economic problem, and asking for economic help are useful. Last I want to remind you that the IB is a big opportunity to have a good future. Congratulations for the win of Barça. I wish that all results well for you.

Your friend, Esteban Vega
